Specifically detects glia cells, astrocytes and tumors derived therefrom.

The antiserum stains specifically human hair keratin K39 ex-pressed in the late hair cortex and late cuticle.

The antiserum stains specifically human type I (acidic) hair keratin K40 expressed in the late hair cuticle.

The antiserum stains most prominently human hair keratins K81-K86 (type II) and considerably weaker K31-K40 (type I) hair keratins present in the hair cortex, hair cuticle and tumors derived therefrom.

The antiserum stains specifically human hair keratins K81-K86 present in the hair cortex, hair cuticle and tumors derived therefrom.

Specific for keratin K1 in suprabasal layers of cornified squamous epithelia, e.g. the suprabasal layer of scalp and foot sole. Negative with non-keratinizing stratified and non-stratified epithelia (e.g. esophagus, duodenum).

MAb DE-K10 specifically recognizes the 56.6 kD keratin K10 polypeptide in squamous cell carcinomas from e.g. epidermis, lung, bladder, cervix, esophagus.

For the recognition of keratinizing cells in squamous cell carcinomas from epidermis, lung, bladder, cervix, esophagus etc. The antibody reacts only with suprabasal cells of the epidermis and not with basal cells.

Useful for the recognition of keratinizing cells in squamous cell carcinoma of epidermis, lung, bladder, cervix, esophagus etc.
