Specifically detects intact virus particles, both empty and full capsids. ADK5a recognizes a conformational epitope of assembled capsids, not present in denatured and native unassembled capsid proteins. No cross-reaction with other AAV serotypes. The antibody is not suitable for Immunoblotting.
