Expanding Competence in Luminex® Technology

PROGEN / Multimetrix have broadened their competence team in Multiplex Technology.
Starting 1. January 2011, PROGEN / Multimetrix and Microbionix have bundled their Testing Service Units and are now able to offer an extended panel of parameters for sample testing on customer demand.

Associated with the cooperation agreement in the field of Luminex® technology between Mikrogen and PROGEN / Multimetrix all the Microbionix testing service, bead coupling, and assay development activities as well as the experienced personnel are now integrated in PROGEN / Multimetrix.

Their long-lasting experience with Luminex®-based assays guarantees a fast and reliable analysis of diverse sample types. Even in small sample volumes several analytes can be fast and simultaneously detected. Flexible parameter panels can be used for a complex analysis of multiple preclinical, clinical and research issues or epidemiological studies in fields like e.g. infectious diseases.

Multimetrix GmbH, Regensburg, is an affiliate of PROGEN Biotechnik GmbH. As a licensee of Luminex® Corp., the company develops multiplex in vitro diagnostics and research tests based on xMAP® technology.

Microbionix GmbH, Neuried, is a subsidiary of Mikrogen GmbH, Neuried.

PROGEN Biotechnik GmbH, Heidelberg, a subsidiary of november AG, develops, manufactures and markets in vitro diagnostics and research reagents for Life Science and clinical laboratories.
